Electronic Targets

Petone Rifle Club was the first Wellington club to invest in electronic targets back in 2013.  A major step forward in technology moving away from manually marked targets requiring a dedicated marker in the pit. The Club's current targets operate by small microphones recording the location of each shot by the bullets supersonic boom. Data is transmitted to each firer via wifi, the shot location is displayed on the firers smartphone or tablet. The club is about to replace its generation one targets for generation two. Please come out and try them for yourselves.
